GOOGLE QUANTUM COMPUTERS(“100 million times faster than PC”)

quantum computers

QUANTUM COMPUTERS & COMPUTING :- Quantum Computers  & computing studies theoretical computation system. Quantum Computers are theoretically. by which they are much faster because they take advantage of quantum mechanics. While traditional computers use the “bits” to represent information as a 0 or 1 & Quantum Computers use “Qubits” to represent information as a 0,1 or both at the same time known as “Superposition”. Quantum Computers are different from digital electronic computer based on transistor. This allow Quantum computers to achieve a correct answer much faster and efficiently through parallel processing.
Google’s D-Wave 2X QUANTUM COMPUTERS :- Two years ago, Google and NASA(national Aeronautics and space Administration) bought a D-Wave 2X Quantum Computers , which they have been experimenting at the U.S space agency’s Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California for past two years. The main goal for that is create a better way to solve highly complex problems in seconds rather than years. The D-Wave Machine is currently installed at the Ames Research Center, Operating usnig a chip called a “quantum annealer”. The annealer is usses an algorithm designed to solve so-called “optimization problems” essentially operational problems or questions common in artificially inteligent software.D-Wave 2X Quantum Computers machine has been figuring out algorithms at 100,000,000 times the speed that a traditional computer chip can,and that could make a huge diifference in the processing power at our disposal in the future.
The team of Google and NASA researchers announced on tuesday that the test on D-Wave Machines using Quantum monte carlo algorithms simulates running an optimization problem on ordinary silicon, and again the result were more than 100 million time faster than a conventional computers.
{ Quantum Computers & computing theory is all well and good, but We’re still wating for confirmation that these ideas can actually work in practice}.
